The Matchmaker is a villainous member of the Silicon Syndicate who used what was once the internet's biggest social networking site, YouSpace, to encourage child predators and serial killers to act on their impulses and find victims.
History
By one estimate, one in five children encounters a sexual predator on the internet. The Matchmaker's goal is to increase those odds, but he does not prey on children directly. Instead, he uses his company YouSpace to connect predators and victims. He regards his work as an art form, and even webcasts the result of his matchmaking whenever possible. Ordinarily, it could take years for perverts and serial killers to progress from fantasy to crime and some, thankfully, never make the leap. However, the Matchmaker's efforts created a whole generation of deviants in record time.[1]
