Matt Baker (b. December 10, 1921 – d.August 11, 1959) was a comic book artist.

Professional History

Matt Baker was an artist under the Iger stable at Fox Features Syndicate. He is mostly remembered as one of the first African American comic book illustrators and for his sultry renditions of the character of Phantom Lady during the 1940s.
