Maxima is the queen of Almerac, who hoped to make Superman her mate.

History

Maxima is an alien queen who came to Earth to convince Superman to be her mate; but he rejected her and she started destroying everything until he locked her up in the D.E.O.. Later, during Myriad, Lucy Lance (under the influence of Non) released all prisoners from the D.E.O. headquarters, including Maxima, but she was eventually defeated by Supergirl and imprisoned again.
