Maximillian "Maxie" Zeus was an enemy of Batman early in his career, making him an inmate at Arkham Asylum. In his god complex, he claims to be the Greek god Zeus himself.[2]
History
When a mysterious mastermind orchestrated a yearlong attack on Batman and Gotham, part of the plan involved reviving Deacon Blackfire in Maxie Zeus' body underneath Arkham.[3] However, this plan was foiled by Batwing and Jim Corrigan, who caused the asylum to crash down on top of them in the process. Zeus was saved from the wreckage and taken into police custody.[4]
