Max Lord (born Maxwell Lorenzano) was the greedy, eccentric, wealthy entrepreneur and collector who acts as C.E.O. of Black Gold Cooperative. He battled Wonder Woman for all the control and power he could possibly gain using the power of the Dreamstone.
History
Part of Max Lord's collection of crystalline artifacts was put on display in the Smithsonian Institution in 1984, where they were marveled at by curator Barbara Minerva, a woman Lord would later use for his own gain.
