Notes
- Mayor Linseed was portrayed by Byron Keith.
Trivia
- Linseed's name was meant to parody then-Mayor of New York City John Lindsay.
- In the Batman '66 continuation comic, Gotham City's mayor is consistently portrayed as an African-American (who, particularly in Jonathan Case's illustrations, tends to caricature Barack Obama). It is unknown whether this is actually a different character, or—given that several stories continue to name him as "Mayor Linseed"—meant as a metafictional joke akin to the comic's constant switching between the Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt portrayals of Catwoman.
