Mera was the queen of Atlantis.

History

She was captured by Circe and impersonated by her. In that guise, she drove Aquaman to invade the surface world (in Metropolis' Suicide Slum). Her deceit was uncovered by Martian Manhunter and the new heroes. As she fled, Circe released Mera.
