Merryman is the leader of the Inferior Five. Although he has no super-powers of his own, he knows martial arts and is the only member of the team with competent intelligence. His parents are Lady Liberty and The Patriot of the Freedom Brigade. He has also become the King of Limbo. Merryman was created by E. Nelson Bridwell and Joe Orlando, first appearing in Showcase #62.
