NK only appeared on the TV news' map. As did Japan. In fact the entire world was shown many times on maps in the movie. That's not a reason to add it. And also I only added Korea because after Superman conquered South Korea, he delivers a speech in reunited Korea's Seoul.
It makes sense when you put it in that way. BTW what about East Germany and Western Berlin Both countries physically appeared in the movie. There is definitely not a page for Western Berlin but i don't thing that Germany of Cold War era is seperated here. So is there a point in making pages for Eastern and Western Germany ?
I don't think so. Germany didn't exist. Just like Korea it's an article about the country rather than a region. That's why I added Western Europe in its place. If I added Germany instead people who are not much knowledgable about the movie or Berlin divide may mistake it for the country.
Besides even the TV commentator was talking about threat to whole of Western Europe and I thought it would make more sense to just include whole of Western Eruope there with Berlin under it.
All Russian Empire subjects were considered subjects of Russia at large. USSr too had one signle citize hip officialy but by extension people were also considered citizens of the SSR/republic they resided in. Stalin had already moved to Russia long before this law came into force in 1930s or USSR was established. Hence, he is not a Georgian by citizenship.
Definetly not citizenship but ethnologically yes. I think it should be pointed on his pages because on this wiki we have for example Category:Tibetans. Tibet is not independent so there is none citizens of this country but there are still Tibetan people who identify themselfs as such. Very similiar thing would be with nations which were in Russian Empire including Georgians.
Also i've just thought that people from Themyscira or Greek Gods should not be categorise as Greek based only on your definition. I think that on this wiki we should to take account of both: Legal and ethnological status of characters nationalities.
You meant before or after dissoloution of USSR? Also what about people born before USSR like Stalin? At that time they had single Russian citizenship for everybody in Russian Empire where he was born, so can he be called "Formerly Russian" citizen?
Understood. But I think demons like Etrigan (New Earth) should have their citizenhsip field empty. Etrigan has Hellion, but Hell has no citizenship. Nor it's a country with a government.
Paradise Island is arecognized as a nation, so I think citizenship applies even if it has no documentation, because a citizen is - "a native or naturalized member of a state or nation who owes allegiance to its government and is entitled to its protection". What is your opinion? Should people like Wonder Woman have "Amazon" in their citizenship?
With Krypton i only know Kandor and Argo City also that island that Kalel (Earth 23) was from. I like the idea but there would be need a Category:Earth Nations and Category:Alien Nations or something like that.
