Ok I will stop, sorry. Their is hardly any information on this wiki, you try and click on a link and their is no information on that page just a picture. So just trying to help but I will leave it now and use other sites to learn more about DC comics, which I think is a shame.
I already went through this with one user, please try to understand that although these Legion characters seem the same they aren't in certain cases.
Copy and pasting at all, in any manner, even from our own articles is wrong. Please do not go through another character and follow down the line of seeing similarities and pasting from what looks to be a completed article.
As always, provide sources especially when the original article you ripped from hardly contains any.
Height and weight can change from each character to another. You cannot assume because one character weighs a certain amount that the different earth versions will weigh the same. Furthermore, it's possible to source directly on the infobox as well as in the trivia or note section please do so with numerical edits.
Shinking Violet weighs xxx lbs on New Earth. You can source whatever book you got that from in her notes sections at the bottom of the page.
Without doing so or letting us know what source you plucked that from that edit will be undone.
Thank you for uploading new content to the DC Database project!
We have lots of images in our database, 134,044 in fact, and in order to keep them organized we use a system of naming, categories and licensing added to each.
Please review our Naming Conventions for Images. Images are categorized by name, so a descriptive name rather than a string of numbers is important.
As a guide, look what other images in a character's gallery are called, and continue with the same name and number. If you upload a first image of a character, use "[Name] [Universe] 001". Do not use parentheses, or the full pagename. Ignore the Universe designation if it is a New Earth character.
Issue covers should be given at least the title of the series, the volume and the number. A name similar to the issue is preferred: "Title Vol 1 1". Textless covers should be called "Title Vol 1 1 Textless". Files that do not indicate the issue number will be deleted.
Images should be no less than 300px wide, unless no bigger image is available.
Add the Image Template to the images you upload. This is mandatory. Fill it in as detailed here, or below.
Selecting the proper license is vital to properly maintaining our images. Please choose the license which best describes the image you are uploading. The most commonly used are 'Comic Single Panel' and 'Comic Cover', respectively.
Other fields that should be filled in: Issue, Subject1, Artist. Add Source if you've taken it from a different site. If you've taken it from a different site and don't know the issue, DO NOT UPLOAD IT.
Midoki, you could wait a bit.He added info 8 minutes after uploading. It can happen; I know I've done it. Booster's been pretty consistent in his uploads, I don't think this response is entirely justified.
I see you're creating a lot of new character pages. It would be good if you could use a little more restraint in deciding which characters need new pages. If a character deserves a new page, there will be enough information in the comics to fill out all of the information in the template. If you can't fill out the template with the information you have, don't create a new page.
Ok, but it's Wiki, it takes a group effort we all make mistakes, so it's up to us all to go through the pages adding information we have. I think if a character exists in any DC comics it should be added and information will come in time once we all start working on a page.
Also of coarse people need correcting but in a supportive way, so not to alienate users who only wish to help and learn more about DC comics and it's related titles.
When you created pages for the Gas Gang, you copy pasted the templates of the Robots of Terror. You listed an incorrect first appearance for Uranium and Agantha. When you copy pasted the Assassins, you listed every one of them as having a proficiency in firearms and as a Batman villain. Several of the characters you created, such as Jonah, weren't even members of the League. The Heretic did not appear in Batman: The Return. For Superman vs. the Elite, you listed everyone as single - even Pa Kent. You neglected to add simple things such as gender, nationality and hair color. I could go on.
This is not "we all make mistakes" - this is blind copy pasting, poor research, and no effort. The "group effort" of a wiki is not "someone else will clean up my mess".
"Somewhere in England" is not a birthplace. Your edits require sources; that means you have to tell us where you got your information or it's open to be deleted or undone. When you edit powers and abilities please include the categories in the categorical section.
