  • Character Creators are avoided in case of real people or mythological characters. The code to avoid the "Character Creators Needed" category from appearing isn't there however.

  • I know we already talked about it, but I found a confirmation from Scott Synder that Batman's stronger and faster thanks to the Dinosieum. https://youtu.be/U6s3qDqofSQ?list=FLMtxKmoF1Gatf8vLZ1ymVRg&t=191

    • That's the same video which you linked earlier and where Snyder said: "He will also come back healed physically, so he comes back faster and stronger and tougher and more badass than you've ever seen him." That contradicts your claim of any physiological change or enhancement. I don't know why you're repeating your arguments.

Alright fine no biological change, but he's more powerful than he has ever been. More powerful than he has when he started out or when he was with more experienced.

  • Can you replace Joshua Michael Allen (Prime Earth) image to The Terrifics Vol 1 28 Textless.jpg

      Loading editor
  • Please replace File:Batman Vol 3 77 Variant.jpg with this. The Ultimate Comic Shop had only uploaded a cropped cover and I was unable to find any other image with the trade dress variant, so I had uploaded it instead. But I was finally able to find a full cover by accident.

  • What's wrong with my edits?

    • It was a few factors, but honestly, upon review, I'll revert most of it. I apologize for the rude surprise.

I think the discussion over Bruce's Dionesium powers have been brought up before. I remember commenting on a Talk page somewhere how the Dionesium didn't empower him, it just reset his body so it wasn't as worn from years of crimefighting, which isn't really a superpower.

I'm also not particularly a fan of the list of characters in the martial arts section. I get what you're doing, and I appreciate that they all have sources, but it's sorta making a pretty messy section messier. Again, I'll revert my undo for that because I think it moreso just needs to be spruced up a little, because it's good information.

And I also just think the powers of the Hellbat armor shouldn't be listed on the page in general. I think equip=yes is more for characters that historically have powers from gadgets, like Adam Strange or Booster Gold. It's kinda weird for Batman to be in the "Superhuman Speed" category because of a special armor he wore, like, twice?

But once again, I'm sorry for the erasure without a better explanation. That wasn't cool of me, and I appreciate your effort.

    • It's okay.

Although the Dionesium did heal his body, it was stated by Alfred that Batman was stronger and faster due to the Dionesium. So that technically was an enhancement, plus I didn't add that Bruce had a healing factor again, neither.

      Really? Thank goodness.

Well the Hellbat Armor had it's speed transferred into it by the Flash, so I think it includes Superhuman Speed. Since Barry had a hand in crafting it. You know? Just going by the lore.

      Well thank you then.

  • Given that Diana is one of DC's main players, her article is quite a mess in terms of chronology and content, talking about history section. I was able to place the missing "The Witching War" section because I wrote the sections regarding the Justice League Dark, but I just finished reading Vol 5 and the issues until now, and there is a lot of material missing.

Thing is, that "Altered Timeline" section puts me out. I don't know how to place it or treat it. There's the whole Orlando run to fill in, with the collapse of the Sphere of the Gods, the Year of the Villain storyline of Cheetah and the God Killer, the Four Horsewomen storyline and then all the new material from Tamaki about Maxwell Lord's return (this last one can wait). Point is, I'd like to organize the sections a bit and find out where to place the whole thing. I'd like to get a green light by you or another admin about trying to place them where they should be. I know it's an important page.

    • I appreciate you trying to clean the page up, I definitely agree the page deserves a face lift. Honestly though, Tupka's usually the authority on anything Wonder Woman, he could help you better than I could, as much as I'd like to.

If you're having trouble with how to place the altered timeline information, (if I understand the question correctly), my suggestion would be to check out both the Kal-El (New Earth) page and Superman (Clark Kent). They both reference huge revisions to Superman's origin but in different ways, with the former choosing to list all the origins one after the other at the top of his History section and the latter all in one place in the Rebirth section.

Both are fine and do the job, but I guess, for Wonder Woman, I'd stick with the latter? It's more metatextually linear for a new reader to follow:

"New 52 origin, New 52, New 52, REBIRTH, "LIES" HAPPENS, FORGET EVERYTHING YOU JUST READ, Rebirth origin, Rebirth, Rebirth, DOOMSDAY CLOCK HAPPENS, FORGET EVERYTHING YOU JUST READ, Doomsday Clock origin."

I think trying to juggle her constantly-retconned past in-universe chronologically would be a lot tougher to pull off than just trusting the reader to understand "okay, here's the new origin, we're frustrated too".

I hope that even got close to answer one of your questions, I'm sorry if I misunderstood. :/

    • No, you pretty much answered me. Diana already has the whole "the Olympians lied to me" thing going that already makes the whole Vol 4 messy. Now with the retcons of Doomsday Clock I wanted to understand how to distribute the new material. It's not as serious as Superman, so the solution will probably be easier.

I'd say that thing you wrote in the middle sums up how the sections should work, it's the only way. I'll try to organize the whole thing in these days, and if I have doubts regarding where to place what, in time and space, I'll write to Tupka ;) Thanks!

  • What happened to TTGO! and NTTS splits categories ?

      Loading editor
    •   Loading editor
    • Yup, still there. They're just hidden categories now.

        Loading editor
    • Speaking of the splits, why are a lot of the pages in the To Be Deleted category now?

        Loading editor
    • Most of the TT pages that I tagged for deletion were pages I created when the show first started airing - I'd make a page for every visual gag or reference I could find on screen because the original show never did reference humor like that. Like, we don't need a page for Bud and Lou the Hyenas (Teen Titans TV Series), they appear for a second on a Chinese food takeout box in the Titans' fridge.

The pages that were tagged for both split AND deletion, (which I think were only a few?), I felt were more gray-area, in case anyone wanted to defend the page and remove the deletion tag, it would still be categorized for Move.
