Bio Billy Arrowsmith is a senior editor & administrator on several Wikia sites including the DC Comics Database, the Marvel Database, and the Valiant Comics Database. He is very hard-working and funny and handsome and you should hire him.
I was trying to put my newly created entry on the character Husque up at this wiki when it was suddenly rejected as being too harmfull to the wiki itself. I wasn't trying to spam anyone - l was simply writing an entry for this wiki in the style of the old Who's Who in the D.C. Universe series.
Figured out how to access the Character Template and used it, finally! I accidentally used the word "none" for the title of the Infobox - puts me in mind of a story l read long ago, about a man who decided to use that word fore his license plate number only to be deluged with tfaffic citations. It turned out his locale police wrote the word "None" whenever they see a car with mo license plates, and the man did not have to pay a cent.
figuring out the templates when you're new here can be tricky! It's helpful to look at the edit pages for other big successful articles to get an idea of how to fill them out well. also, always preview your edits before submitting to make sure everything you put in works! :)
Hiya mate, just letting you know that your "Batman Trade Reading Order" was (and still is!) a great guide for me to read Batman comics, I hate reading and watching things out of chronological order, and I almost gave up with all the research I was doing to find the *perfect* list of chronological Batman comics, but yours taught me that the *perfect* order just doesn't exist, yet was a great way to start me off :)
I've removed a lot of them, for SEO reasons. On a page with empty history, they run the risk of making the page 80% similar to other pages - which means those are treated as duplicate and "empty"; if a site has a high ratio of empty vs content Google'll punish them. If there's unique content, it wouldn't cause an issue, but we have too many empty pages as is.
Though on an added note, because navboxes are not included in the mobile skin (they're impractical on the small screen) and Google now prioritizes the mobile crawlers, that way of thought might no longer be relevant.

I honestly have no idea. If I uploaded that image and quote (no memory) it was way back in the wild west days of the site when no images were ever sourced and everything came from google image searches unless you owned the comics and had a scanner. I would not object to someone deleting and replacing them if we can't find the source on either.
while reading the page "Recommended Reading" you created, I was wondering if someone should add DC's own list of recommended comics, listed in the annual "DC Essential Graphic Novels" publication. What do you think about it?
