We've both made a bit of a bump in our recent edits. It seems you may have been onto something regarding the current situation with Huntress but to change the entire series and edit the character page based on what you assume is correct isn't, in fact, correct.
I shouldn't have jumped the gun to undo your edits but this requires much more discussion so please join the DC Database Chat every now and then to find open discussions about what to do with this new information as it arises.
In the mean time hold off on making edits without concrete evidences to support it. Especially when it concerns something as delicate as other universal information.
Just as an additive statement:
We need to leave the questionable information up as a placeholder until we actually know how the Earth-2 books like World's Finest are going to play out.
This is probably not the same Earth-2 that we saw in the past, and it is also not likely to be Earth-Two. It will probably be an entirely new Earth-2 that follows from the changes to the timestream in Flashpoint, just as the DCnU differs significantly from the post-crisis Earth, and earlier versions.
So, we wait and see - but we know that it's not Helena Bertinelli in the Huntress book. We just don't know what to do about it yet.
I'm still trying to figure out just who she is myself. I need to go back to the earlier issues and see if she ever mentions her last name. I'm sure she never called herself Helena Wayne, but I don't recall if she ever gave the Bertinelli name. Knowing what was coming, the writers may have deliberately avoided giving her full name, and either may end up being true. Her attitude and behavior is more in line with the Bertinelli Huntress than the Wayne Huntress.
The cover DC is presenting for World's Finest #1 shows her as a younger woman in a Robin costume, which doesn't match any previous Helena I'm familiar with. Neither Bertinelli or Wayne were ever Robins.
This is Helena Wayne of Earth-2.
It is not any version of Earth-2 we have ever seen before. It's all new.
She's been using the name Helena Bertinelli (according to Paul Levitz. Her book doesn't use the name) on New Earth since she got there. We'll probably get that figured out once we see Worlds' Finest #1.
So basically, this is an all-new version of the Huntress who takes the best from the New Earth version, the old Earth-2 version, and the Earth-Two version.
