Hey Varese, a few notes about your recent edits on the Looney Tunes/Covers Gallery.
Firstly, I see the first time around you added the Textless cover, which you've been warned numerous times not to do. I don't know if this was intended or an accident, but you might not want to get back into it with the admins.
After doing this, you replaced the Image with: Looney Tunes Vol 1 220.jpg which had not been uploaded yet.
If your not going to bother uploading the cover, there's no need to add the cover name to the gallery.
I went and uploaded the cover for you, but next time either have it uploaded or just don't add it all. It serves no purpose.
Hey Varese, I don't think we've meet. I'm Nep, nice to meet you! Anyway I undid your edit on the Selina Kyle (Nolanverse) page because I checked the notes on her page and it said: The name "Catwoman" is never used in the movie, only in merchandise and other supplementary material. Kyle is only referred to as "Selina Kyle" and "The Cat" (in writing) on-screen." That's why it was linked as "The Cat" and not directly as Catwoman. I've seen you sometimes edit war with people and I didn't want to start one so I decided to message you real quick.
(Collected) is the ideal distinction we use for every collected edition. Not every page has been converted to that distinction, but that's because we don't have a perfect method for sorting collected editions yet. "Vol 1 1" on the other hand implies that it is a #1 issue. Trade paperbacks are almost never #1 issues, so we don't list them as such. The only pages listed that way are very old ones that we haven't caught yet.
If you come across a page or edit where you see something you disagree with, you are welcome to discuss the issue with the editor who made the edit.
You are not welcome to undo that edit.
All pages should remain as they are until you have discussed the issue with the editor, and then come to a resolution. Not before.
If you see an edit made by an Administrator, then it is safe to assume that there is a solid reasoning behind it. If you don't understand why they made that decision, you should contact them about it. They can explain what their reasoning was, and if you still disagree, then you are welcome to involve other administrators and users in the discussion.
You should not revert the edit and leave a snarky editor's note. That is only going to annoy the administrators.
And, when an administrator changes that edit back after you've reverted it and left a snarky comment, you should not revert that edit, and leave another snarky comment.
That is what is called "edit warring", and it is against policy, and it is a blockable offence.
You have been blocked twice now for that reason.
I am leaving this note for you because I don't want to have to block you again. We have a three-strike rule, and if you are not able to behave in accordance with the simple guidelines I just gave you, your next block will be pretty permanentish.
We don't use the "Batman (Bruce Wayne)" and "Catwoman (Selina Kyle)" links in the appearances section, because the categorization still uses "Bruce Wayne (New Earth)" etc. The former are for google optimization. Internally, we use the latter.
