Synopsis for "Like Father Like Son"

Rex Mason, aka, Metamorpho is at a museum reminiscing over past adventures with the curator, Haney. A woman named Jillian Conway enters the room. Jillian is an archaeologist and treasure hunter, just like Rex used to be. She reveals information pertaining to the ancient meteor that first transformed Rex into an element man. She further shows that she too has been adversely affected by the radioactive meteor. She went to Simon Stagg in search of the Orb of Ra, but Stagg told her that he no longer possessed it. The Orb of Ra is the only thing preventing Metamorpho from claiming his son.

Upon learning this new information, Rex agrees to help Jillian recover the Orb of Ra, but first he must free his son, Joey, from Stagg's mansion. He breaks into the mansion and uses his fantastic powers to fight through Stagg's henchmen. He finds Joey in a hi-tech nursery in one of the laboratories. He frees the child and leaves a note for his ex-wife Sapphire.

When Sapphire returns home with her current husband Java, she asks her father why Rex would abduct Joey. Simon says that Rex was behaving like a madman and that he has no idea why he would take the child.
