Micah Ian Wright is a writer who has worked in video games, film, television, animation, graphic novels and comic books. He has also released three books of political commentary and graphics.
Personal History
After the 9/11 attacks, Micah became interested in the work of WWI and WWII poster artists, and the patriotic messages they extolled. This interest eventually led to his anti-war posters. His work has been featured in the New York Times, Sunday Guardian, The Progressive, the Christian Science Monitor, the Boston Globe, the Washington Post and the Fox News Channel, much to their chagrin.
In April 2004, Wright confessed of lying about serving his military service in the United States Army Rangers.[1] As a result, several publishers canceled their work with Wright and he has been blacklisted by DC and Marvel Comics.[2]
