Michael Akins

Michael Akins was police commissioner in Gotham City. Before his move there, he worked in Gateway City, where he had a traumatic encounter with a costumed vigilante named Watchdog. He was later elected mayor of Gotham City.

Michael Akins was created by Greg Rucka and Paul Pope, first appearing in Batman: Turning Points #5 (2001).
