Michael Gough (b. November 23, 1916 – d.March 17, 2011) was a British character actor who portrayed Alfred Pennyworth in Batman and its three sequels.

He is perhaps best recognized for his roles as Alfred Pennyworth in the films Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin, and his roles in Hammer Film Productions' horror films, such as Arthur Holmwood in Dracula and Ambrose D'Arcy in The Phantom of the Opera.
