- Powerhouse was created by Michael Jan Friedman and Mike Collins, first appearing in Darkstars #14. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Powerhouse first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Midnighter and Apollo #1 by Steve Orlando and Fernando Blanco.
