Mike Royer (b. June 28, 1941) is a comic book artist.

Professional History

Mike Royer is an American illustrator and comic book inker. Since 1965, he worked for various comic strips as well as comic companies including Marvel Comics and DC Comics. He was a close collaborator with Russ Manning and Jack Kirby. While working for DC, Royer contributed to titles such as Forever People, New Gods, Kamandi, Detective Comics and many others.

In later life Royer became a freelance product designer and character artist for The Walt Disney Company.

Personal History

Royer moved from Oregon to California in 1965 in order to pursue a career in comic book art.
