Synopsis for Blackhawk: "This Is My Own, My Native Land"
The Blackhawk Squadron flies from Blackhawk Island, over the Atlantic Ocean, across the deserts of Africa, and into the interior of China, to team up with a famous American group of volunteer aviators. In this region, the Japanese have been using a catapult drome to launch fighters. The G-forces from this device was killing off aviators at a grim rate, and these pilots were kept alive with strong dosages of drugs. Meanwhile one American flier, Harvey Wilkins, has completely lost his nerve, deserted his unit, and collaborated with the Japanese.
Blackhawk gets captured and tortured by the Japanese, and rescued by the Blackhawks, who escape from the Japanese compound, while Wilkins redeems his recent acts of cowardice by blowing up the enemy ammo dump, with himself inside it, which cuts off the Japanese pursuit of the escaping Blackhawks.
