    • One Grumman Skyrocket, piloted by Blackhawk, ridden by Andre and Olaf, is shot down, and crashes. This is Blackhawk's sixth time being shot down,[1] and his tenth plane crash. Over the course of his long combat career, Blackhawk survived at least twenty-two aircraft crashes.[2] This is also Olaf's third crash,[3] and Andre's first. Being a Blackhawk is dangerous.
    • The crashed plane is fitted with the new heavy cannons.
  • Death Patrol'
    • Splash panel shows nine uniquely personalized warplanes (including Yogi's flying carpet), but Death Patrol only has seven members, only six of whom are seen on-panel in this story.
    • Jackie is still absent.
