The Black Bison (real name Mina Chaytan) was metahuman criminal from Central City.

History

Mina was a Sioux/Native American woman and a former cultural anthropology professor at Central City University. After she was struck by the dark matter energy of the Speed Force, Mina became a metahuman with the ability to animate any inanimate object resembling animals or people. She targeted collectors of the stolen Black Bison's Talisman to kill them and recover the object, but she was eventually defeated by the Flash and Elongated Man and sent to the Iron Heights Penitentiary. Later, Mina and the metahuman inmates attempt to escape after learning that the warden Wolfe planned to sell them to the crimelord Amunet Black, but the Thinker intercepted and killed them to steal their powers.^[1]^[2]

- Telekinetic Puppetry: Mina is able to imprint inanimate objects with a flood of Dark Matter and essentially bring them to life under her control Telekinetically. However, she is only able to control things shaped like humans or animals such as Mannequins, Suits of Armor, and Statues.
