In the early 1940s, the Minute-Men of America were a gang of young radio operators who assisted Hour-Man in his fight against all criminals.
History
In mid-1940, Rex "Tick-Tock" Tyler, in his secret identity as "Hour-Man", solved the murder of young Jimmy Martin's brother Billy, and learned that Jimmy was a ham radio operator. He encouraged Jimmy to use this technology to enlist a nationwide gang of ham radio operators, of any and all ages, to pitch in to Hour-Man's ongoing fight against corruption and crime. They soon would organize themselves, as the "Minute-Men of America".
Paraphernalia
Equipment:
Radio transmitters and receivers of every make and model were pressed into service, over the years, and many home-made innovations as well. Hour-Man himself built a miniature radio set into his belt-buckle, and made much use of it in the years to follow.
