Mist-Rider is Dawnstar's father.
History
He and his family are descended from Amerinds who colonized the planet Starhaven. The women in his wife's family had a long tradition of exploring the universe in something called the Grand Tour which generally ended with the woman meeting their future husbands.
Mist-Rider's daughter Dawnstar possesses a unique tracking ability that allows her to track anything in space. Mist-Rider and his wife Moonwalker were able to build a thriving business around their daughter's ability to guide ships through dangerous areas of space.
