Mister Crabb was a ruthless oil tycoon.

Working with Chinese Communists, Mister Crabb built an elaborate undersea enclosure where he stored oil and gas he had stolen from other, legitimate oil rigs, along with any prisoners he captured. When one of the daughters of a rival came to investigate her father's disappearance, she inadvertently alerted Blue Beetle to Crabb's operation. Although Beetle was initially defeated by Crabb's Scorpion, he was later able to overpower the machine and set fire to Crabb's underwater base. Crabb was last seen inside the burning enclosure.[1]
