Notes
- Several details throughout the series imply that it is actually set in a distinct Hypertime reality, separate from the reborn continuity of Prime Earth:
- In this timeline, Scott Free and Big Barda were erased from existence.[1] This version of Shilo Norman never met "Scott Free", unlike [2] the main Shilo Norman from Prime Earth, who was a disciple of Scott Free, who, in turn, had been mentored by Thaddeus Brown.[3]
- The unnamed daughter of Scott and Barda Free originally appeared in Scott Free's dream world during the events of Mister Miracle (Volume 4) #12 but she never came to exist on Prime Earth. During the All In era, the canonical daughter of Scott Free and Barda, Olivia "Liv" Free, makes her debut on Prime Earth in The New Gods #1;
- N'Vir Free hails from a 33rd Century-based possible future, and according to the Mother Box, she traveled back into a different timeline,[4] which further suggests the setting of this series is an Hypertimeline;
- Shilo's Mother Box explicitly references the existence of alternate timelines and parallel realities within the Omniverse, and even speculates on the uniqueness of this one;[2]
- The Thaddeus Brown featured in this series is portrayed as African-American and is identified as Shilo Norman's grandfather.[5] By contrast, the Prime Earth version of Thaddeus Brown— like his Pre-Flashpoint counterpart— is Caucasian, a fact definitively confirmed in his profile from The New Golden Age #1;
- In this alternate continuity, despite his heroism, Thaddeus Brown faced severe racial discrimination;
- Prime Earth Brown's backstory also reveals that, following the rebirth of Creation, he only fathered a son, Ted,[3] whereas in this hypertimeline, he has a daughter, further indicating divergence from the main DC Universe.
