Synopsis for "The Sewer Sticks"
Manga and his crew escape from a giant, and they, along with the pod, drop into the sewers and float using the trash as boats dragged by the current. Mister Miracle enters the sewers tracking his friends, and plants a multi-cube on a sewer worker, who then finds the trashed pod of Manga Khan. Scott saves them from a trash crusher and takes them out of the sewer, following the tracker he left on the worker. They find the pod in a trash can and escape the planet, skipping the show of their tour.
Meanwhile, on Earth, the Justice League deals with the aftermath of Mister Miracle's "death" at the hands of Despero, but they don't know it was actually a robot replacing Scott. Barda, still unaware of his beloved's fate, decides to carry on the bombing of the illegal research institution, destroying one of their warehouses, but she falls right into their trap, because the police arrive and arrest her. In her cell, Ted Brown visits her and tells her the news of Scott's "death".
