Synopsis for "Dark Days"
The Forever People arrive at Scott's house, joining their dinner with the Ferbels. Big Barda and Scott notice Beautiful Dreamer is pregnant, and she says she is barely six weeks, even though it looks months old. This child, however, is not a normal pregnancy, and it progresses at increased speed.
After the dinner, the Ferbels leave the house, and Scott snaps at Highfather for invading his privacy and making him uncomfortable. Scott then leaves the house to walk through the street. He finds two kids, but they are possessed by The Dark, an entity that faced the Forever People previously, and they kidnap Scott.
Back in the house, Highfather meditates on what Scott said to him. At that moment, Beautiful Dreamer enters the process of giving birth to the baby. Also, Mark Moonrider gets back home saying he couldn't find Scott, and Vykin senses The Dark are back and kidnapped Scott.
In their hideout, Fyre, a servant of The Dark explains to Scott their plan to take revenge on Highfather for creating the Forever People, the group that defeated them previously. Moonrider, Serifan, Vykin, and Oberon go looking for Scott, but they are also kidnapped by the Shadow Agents, except for Oberon.

- The Forever People faced The Dark in the miniseries Forever People (Volume 2). In that same storyline, Beautiful Dreamer gets pregnant thanks to Maya, the spirit of Vykin's Mother Box.
- The Forever People's appearance in this issue was retconned later on New Gods (Volume 4) #14. In that issue, the Forever People escape from Adon and return to Earth, making every one of their appearances between Forever People #11 (1972) and New Gods (Volume 4) #14 (1997) no longer canon. Moreover, Beautiful Dreamer's pregnancy was erased from continuity.
