Mister Miracle (Volume 3) with a cover date of July, 1996.
Synopsis for "...For Everything Left to Lose."
The battle between Mister Miracle's army of Hadis and Apokolips's forces rages on, with Scott confronting Steppenwolf himself for his mother's murder. Steppenwolf tries to push Scott into using his new God powers to kill him, but Scott holds back. Steppenwolf gets lethally injured by his ax, but instead of letting him die, Scott uses his powers to heal him. Then, Scott realizes he has the power to revive Barda.
On the other side of the battlefield, the undead Big Barda fights and kills the same soldiers that killed her before getting to Granny herself. However, Scott interrupts the battle and revives Barda. As he attempts to revive the undead from Hadis, the Black Racer shows up to confront him and claim his life, but Scott stands up to him, sending the Racer back to Hadis.
Another Boom Tube shows up, and Highfather emerges from it. Scott asks Highfather if Avia was his real mother, and Izaya admits she wasn't. Scott lashes out at him, and Izaya attempts to calm him down by telling him his real name, but Scott refuses to hear it.
Again, another Boom Tube opens, and this time Darkseid comes out. Darkseid offers Scott the chance to rule Apokolips by his side, but Scott refuses. With both of his father figures present, Scott has to choose what to do with his new powers, and decides to give them up, using his last energies to revive the armies of Hadis. With Scott turning his back on both of them, Darkseid's forces retreat to Apokolips, and Highfather banishes Scott from New Genesis.
Scott and Barda teleport to Earth, where they'll continue looking for that normal life they crave.
