Mister Unknown was a legendary crime-fighter in Japan for many years, until he was killed using acid by his greatest adversary Lord Death Man.

History

Batman and Catwoman found him dead when they tried to offer him membership in Batman Incorporated. Prior to his death, the hero had grown too old and mostly did detective work while his partner Jiro Osamu took up the mantle in the streets. Jiro holds the position to avenge his mentor and is then sworn in as the new Batman of Japan.
