Mitch Romero was an arms dealer who was murdered by Ramsey Rosso and turned into the first of his zombie-like Blood Brothers.

History

At some point in time, Mitch Romero became the leader of a gang which was specialized in selling weapons.

In October 2019, he became an acquaintance of Dr. Ramsey Rosso who wanted to buy a gun from him. As the criminal rose the price of the weapon, Rosso tried to steal it but, after Romero pushed him to the ground, he unconsciously activated his powers, emitting a blood tendril which pierced Romero, fatally killing him.

Then, Rosso stole his dead body from the morgue, taking it to his lab in order to use it for his experiments. After Romero reanimated by himself as a zombie-like being, he knocked Ramsey out and escaped. Later, Romero attacked his former gang that was robbing Mercury Labs as the zombie was attracted by the dark matter: he was faced by the Flash and Frost who was forced to throw him out of the building with her ice powers; much to their surprise, Romero rose up once again and left the battlefield.

Romero came to the S.T.A.R. Labs, still searching for dark matter, so he was imprisoned in the pipeline: however, his monstrous strength allowed him to break the prison door and attack Barry Allen again. Using his super-speed, the Flash injected him with all the dark matter Team Flash possessed, overpowering Romero enough to make him explode.
