Mobfire #4 is an issue of the series Mobfire (Volume 1) with a cover date of March, 1995.
Synopsis for "A Walk Across Rooftops"
This issue begins with Floyd, Jack Kellor's partner in his attempt to ruin the crime family he was born into, making preparations for a final battle with the Bocor between Jack and Floyd to be held in an alley. Jack checks in on Floyd during the preparations, using a scrying spell and manages to see a partial memory of Floyd's. Namely, why Floyd hates the Bocor so much. The Bocor is responsible for disfiguring Floyd's face.
Jack consoles his mother, who is concerned that the family is falling apart, most evidenced to her, by her daughter, Sara's, recent destructive behavior. Next, Jack goes to see his girlfriend Ella and tells her that he is going to do battle with the Bocor. She gets upset because she is afraid she will never see Jack again and Jack leaves Ella's apartment.
Jack heads to the alleyway where he finds Floyd has made all the necessary preparations to lay a magical trap for the Bocor. The two men conceal themselves in the fire escape above the alley and set a nearby car alight with a Molotov cocktail. Then they wait for the Bocor to appear. When the Bocor does appear, Jack uses his voodoo doll to assault the Bocor while Pucciano gang members open fire on the trapped magician. The Bocor gets his second wind and kills the Pucciano's. Then he fires a burst of magic energy at Floyd and Jack. In the final panel we see Floyd's bloody body laying atop Jack.
