- Universe after universe has fallen before my power. World after world consumed. With every death, I steal my mirror's strength and mine grows ever stronger. Who am I? I am the Anti-Monitor. Come, Harbinger. There is work to be done.

Mobius, the Anti-Monitor, is the ruler of the Antimatter Universe and the antimatter counterpart of Mar Novu, the Monitor.
History
He was discovered by the Monitor when he attempted to peer into the dawn of time, resulting in the struggle to prevent the Anti-Monitor's rise and the destruction of the Multiverse. Mobius was soon sealed away, prompting him to build an antimatter cannon to enact his plan. He then employed the Flash of Earth-90 to power the weapon against his will, after the Monitor sent him away during the Elseworlds event. After successfully destroying Earth-2, the antimatter wave created by Mobius began annihilating universe after universe. In a bid to expose the Monitor, Pariah unintentionally freed him, beginning the Crisis on Infinite Earths. As universe after universe fell to the antimatter wave, Mobius corrupted Harbinger and used her to kill the Monitor, allowing him to succeed in destroying the Multiverse despite the attempts of the heroes who opposed him. The only flaw, however, was the survival of the Paragons, who faced the Anti-Monitor with the aid of the new Spectre, Oliver Queen. Their combined forces eventually seemingly defeated Mobius and the Multiverse was rebooted by the Spectre.
With the new Multiverse now created, Mobius made a last-ditch attempt to defeat the Paragons, once again summing his army of Shadow Demons and reforming, thereby regaining his power. Mobius was then defeated once again being shrunk perpetually into the Microverse and unable to return.
