Synopsis for P.T. Boat: "The Steel Fortress of Mawuino Island"
A floating steel fortress is all that remains of the Japanese defenses of Mawuino Island, but the artillery aboard it still prevents U.S. use of the captured harbor, and they're not at all ready to quit. Shore-based U.S. artillery is brought to bear, and MTB Squadron Six is sent in. That attack fails; at least one P.T. Boat is lost, a crucial supply ship is sunk. Three infantry assaults have also failed.
Tobias and Harvey load their boat with twenty drums of oil, and one night, with engines cut, they drift into position alongside the floating fort. The crew quickly and quietly unloads the drums onto the fort, and Perry finds a way into the fort, but sets off an alarm. After a little bit of fist-fighting and pistol-shooting, Tobias gets the fuse rigged, then he and Harvey and the P.T. crew escape. The fortress is destroyed.
