Notes
- Blackhawk:
- In "Captured By Count Hokoy", Stanislaus makes reference to an earlier adventure in which he was blind for a length of time.[1]
- Stanislaus is head-konked unconscious, for the first time, with a thrown handgun. Blackhawk is head-konked unconscious, for the seventh time,[2] with a pistol butt. Being a Blackhawk is dangerous.
- Death Patrol:
- Del Van Dyne is visible for the first time since Military Comics #41.
- Besides Del, only Boris, Hank, Hotintot, and Jackie are visible in the story.
- Hank persistently calls Jackie "Junior," and it's not really possible to tell if that's a still nickname or not.
- First issue for Will Bragg by Paul Gustavson.
- Also featured in this issue of Modern Comics were:
- Johnny Doughboy, by Bernard Dibble
- "Mountains of Glass, Part 2" (text story)
