Notes
- Published by Comic Magazines.
- Blackhawk breaks the Fourth Wall and begins to narrate the first story.
- Andre and Olaf join in the retelling. But by the end of page two, this device simply ends and the narration returns to normal.
- The Grumman Skyrockets are equipped with ray-finding receivers, which detect murmurs in the local radiation.
- In the 6th panel of the 3rd page, Chuck straps on a side-arm as the team goes into action. Usually the Blackhawks' handguns are concealed, but they almost always have some.
- At the end of this story, Gant Martek's geothermal power machinery is abandoned, intact, for reputable scientists to find and develop. Also the tribe of cave men, minus Grombo, still live in the vicinity of the ruined temple.
- Also appearing in this issue of Modern Comics were:
- Blackhawk: "The Century Powder" (text story)
- Skipper
