Moira Dearden (Arrowverse: Earth-2)

Moira Queen is the head of Queen-Merlyn Enterprises, along with her husband Malcolm Merlyn, on Earth-2.

Moira Queen (nee Dearden) was the wife of Robert Queen and the mother of Oliver Queen. Years later, she had an affair with Malcolm Merlyn from which it was born a daughter, Thea.

In 2007, his husband and son went missing after their boat crashed near the island of Lian Yu: Oliver ultimately died but his husband survived, living on the Chinese island.

Some time after that, Moira married to his old flame, Malcolm Merlyn, starting to live in the Queen's Mansion with him and his son, Tommy. Moira and Malcolm also merged their companies, creating the Queen-Merlyn Enterprises.

Five years later, Moira's daughter, Thea, also died because of a Vertigo overdose.

In 2019, Moira received the news about Oliver's apparent rescue from Lian Yu: however, it was his doppleganger from Earth-1 who disguised as Moira's son to search for dwarf star particles which were being studied in the Queens' company.

Moira and Oliver had an heartfelt reunion and he immediately asked about her daughter: Moira had to reveal him that Thea died many years before on her 18th birthday. Later, during a dinner with all of her family, she admitted to an uncomfortable Oliver to have married to Merlyn; the woman also assigned to Oliver a bodyguard who revealed himself to be Oliver's best friend, John Diggle.

Later, after Tommy was arrested for planning to destroy the Glades, Moira and her husband reached him to the SSPD headquarter, promising to free him. Then, a tearful Oliver said goodbye to Moira who was confused as she believed to met him again at home: suddenly, she faded away from existence as the result of Earth-2 being annihilated by the Anti-Monitor's anti-matter wave.[1]


Abilities


  • It is unknown if Moira was somehow brought back to life in the new version of Earth-2 after the rebirth of the Multiverse.
