Monster Men are the mutated henchmen of professor Hugo Strange.
History
They helped him in his scheme to transform Batman into a giant monster that would wreak havoc throughout Gotham City and become the co-leader of the Monster Men, but they were defeated and Batman was later cured due to Green Arrow persuading Strange to give the antidote.
Strange and the Monster Men were later summoned by Klarion along with other monstrous enemies of Batman, such as Professor Milo's werewolves to battle Batman and Zatanna but were defeated by their own team of heroic monsters.
Trivia
- They are much more monstrous in their first appearance.
