- The Monster Society of Evil first appeared in Earth-S continuity in Fawcett Publications' Captain Marvel Adventures #22 by Otto Binder and C.C. Beck. The team was reintroduced in Prime Earth continuity in Shazam! (Volume 3) #10 by Geoff Johns and Scott Kolins.
