Moonwatcher is a former slave of the alien Mygorg on a nameless world in an unknown star system.
History
When the would-be concubine known as Starfire escaped from their clutches, the Mygorg chieftain sent Moonwatcher to track her down. However, Moonwatcher betrayed his alien overseers and joined Starfire's brigade of freedom fighters.
Over the course of several adventures, Moonwatcher began to develop amorous feelings towards Starfire. However, she did not reciprocate his affection as her heart belonged to the memory of the man who freed her – Dagan.
Moonwatcher assisted Starfire in battle against the Mygorg, their shadowy rivals, the Yorg, the Golden Queen and the sorceress Lady Djinn. His last known adventure involved a quest for an ancient relic known as the Eye of Armageddon. Whether Moonwatcher and his allies succeeded in finding the Eye has yet to be chronicled.

- This version of Moonwatcher, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
