Synopsis for Gary Hawkes: "Claire Darroll"
Flight instructor Gary Hawkes' student pilot Claire Darroll gets kidnapped and Gary goes after her. Hawkes gets shot down by a hoodlum with a submachinegun, crashes in a swamp, and gets rescued from it by the villains, who now have a second hostage. Three days go by.
Hawkes gets the jump on one of the gunmen, disarms him, and shoots the other one in the arm. Then Hawkes' mechanic Joe shows up with some police and FBI to take charge of the kidnappers. Gary and Claire resume her flight training.

Synopsis for Radio Squad: "Adopting Crax"
Sandy runs in to a burning building to rescue a dog and in the process discovers a murdered night watchman. He salvages the corpse for evidence, and rescues the dog. After a visit to the city dog pound, Sandy adopts the dog, and Larry names him "Crax."
At the scene of another fire, Crax attacks one of the firemen who kicks the dog aside, then runs into the burning house. Sandy follows him in, and busts him. The fireman turns out to be a pyromaniac and the night watchman's murderer.

Synopsis for Lt. Bob Neal: "Submarine 662"
In a secret drydock in a secluded cove on the East Coast, Submarine 662 is being outfitted with secret new devices and instruments. Two foreign spies attempt to plant a bomb aboard the new ship, but are thwarted by an observant and quick-thinking young officer, Lieutenant Bob Neal. One of the spies is arrested. Lt. Neal becomes 2nd-in-command of the new ship, under Captain Mitchell.
Their first mission is to strike back at the Pirates of the Java Sea.
