Synopsis for Doctor Fate: "The Legend of Lucky Lane"

Lucky Lane, who has had a very lucrative and murderous career, believes his lucky ring will keep him one step ahead of the law, and Dr. Fate. Coincidence and good fortune seemingly help Lane overcome all obstacles and avoid the law, but he cannot escape fate forever.

During a heist in the Opera House, Doctor Fate confronts Lane and his henchmen and after a brief struggle, Lane tries to stand against his opponent, but his hand reaches for an electric switch, which comes in contact with the ring in his hand and electrocutes Lane, ending his lucky streak for good.
