Moses is considered the most important prophet in Judaism and one of the most important prophets in Christianity, Islam, Druze faith, the Baháʼí Faith and other Abrahamic religions.

Thousands of years ago, Moses was born in Egypt into an Israelite family, at a time when Pharaoh had decreed that Israeli male babies should be killed as a way of controlling the Israelite population. With the help of his sister, Moses was adopted by Pharaoh's daughter. Other Israelites were enslaved. Moses lived a life of luxury until he learned his Hebrew origins. He killed an Egyptian who was oppressing an Israelite and fled for 40 years. In communion with God, he performed miracles and ten plagues in Egypt[1]. After the tenth plague, Pharaoh's firstborn died and he left Moses led the Israelites from slavery in Egypt to the Promised Land of Canaan.[2] Midway through the journey, Pharaoh's heart changed and he ordered his cavalry to pursue the Israelites. Moses raised his staff, causing the Red Sea to open a path that allowed the Israelites to flee, and the path of water closed over the Egyptian cavalry, drowning them[1]. Vandal Savage, once mentioned, fought alongside Moses as the spiritual figure led the Israelites out of Egypt, and he was wounded by a Philistine at the time. [3]

When Moses died, Joshua succeeded him as leader of the Israelite tribes.[4]
