Mount Olympus Correctional Facility, also known as Superman Island[2] or Superman's Island, was an ultra-secure prison designed specifically to house super-powered criminals and it could be manned by two guards.
History
The high-tech facilty was designed and built by Carl Draper, an old high school classmate of Lana Lang and Clark Kent. During the opening of the prison, Superman added an anti-gravity platform raising the prison 20,000 feet and a protective plastic dome to the prison. He called it "Draper's Island" but Lana Lang commented that it should be named "Superman's Island" instead. Draper snapped and became the supervillain known as the Master Jailer.[1]
