Myrna Dearfield is the wife and confidant of Nuclear Physicist Alton Dearfield.
History
When Myrna and her husband decided to adopt a child she interviewed the orphan Thomas Yerxes, despite him being a known troublemaker. She liked his candid nature and adherence to telling the truth even when it didn't benefit himself and asked to introduce him to her husband. While she was introducing them her husband entrusted her with a new formula, and she was subsequently abducted by the Yellow Mask Gang and tortured for the information after she arrived home.
Thomas' attempts to follow her kidnappers helped Wonder Woman locate and rescue her.
