Nathan "Nate" Patton was a detective in the Gotham City Police Department's Major Crimes Unit and partner of Romy Chandler.

History

Patton had a habit of being abrasive by saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, which caused friction within the Unit. Patton had a crush on Romy Chandler, but he kept this a private matter. During a harsh winter day, Patton died after sustaining injuries while saving reporter Angie Molina from a bomb set by the Joker.
