Nell Little is one of the Batgirls, a band of youngsters inspired by Batwoman.

Year One (1940)

Upon learning that Batwoman would soon be leaving town Nell's coworker at Duquesne Mechanics, Harper Row, suggested that they and their boss Kathy Duquesne form the Batgirls to carry on in her stead while Batwoman was overseas.[1] Nell took it upon herself to create a car for the Batgirls, modifying an older car into "the Batmobile".[2]

When Felicity Smoak's family is being kicked out for letting family members who fled death at the hands of the Nazis in Europe stay with them the Batgirls came roaring in to the rescue using the Batmobile, preventing their crooked landlord from stealing everything they owned.[2]

Year Two (1941)

By appealing to bigotry and nostalgia mayor Harvey Dent brands the Batgirls outlaws and outsiders. He claims they and those they're protecting preying on what used to make America great, and thus stealing from "real" Americans. The Batgirls discover he's been brought under the control of Hugo Strange.[3]

Year Five (1944)
