Nera was a dolphin and Aquaman's first love.
History
They were children together in olden days. She called him "Loud One" and taught him to fish. He saved her from a shark named Cron One-Eye, and then came to save her again. Nera's sonar abilities were wounded by the Manta system's ultrasound pulses, making her barely able to understand Aquaman.
