Synopsis for Charley Fish: "Golf"

Charley Fish is playing golf, and he inadvertently keeps hitting another golfer with his shots. Fed up with Fish, the golfer fills a golf ball with nitro-glycerine, and places it in Fish's locker. Charley finds the brand new ball in his locker, and decides to give it a try. But before he hits the ball with his swing, a bird grabs it, and then drops the dangerous ball over its inventor. As the man lies on the ground completely stunned, Charley laments his own bad luck.

The broken down taxi was a setup, and secret agents Lothar and Reynolds are ambushed. The Gavonian agents who abducted Sandra anxiously watch from the back window of their car, and Sandra takes advantage of the distraction to untie her arms and steal one of her captor's guns. She forces her kidnappers at gunpoint to untie her legs, but behind her, the driver gets ready to knock her out with a pipe wrench.

Brad Hardy and Prince Kardos fight the Black Magician by decree of King Naga. The Black Magician works through fear, and he shows Brad a vision of Lorraine being tortured. Prince Kardos in turn shows the Black Magician a vision of the warriors of Agharti approaching. Furious, the Magician attacks the Prince with his trident, but Brad deflects the attack and takes the trident from his hands. Now weaponless, the Black Magician transforms into a giant snake.

The note that Bob Merrit found in the same room as Cyrus Campbell's body threatens him not to launch his plane, this confuses him, as no one but his own crew should know about the plane. Buzz arrives from his search for the mysterious plane, after it was briefly believed that he was lost, and he tells Bob that the mysterious plane tried to kill him. Bob is determined to hunt down his mysterious enemy, so with the help of Shorty and Tex, he takes off aboard his experimental rocket-plane. Soaring through space and air, he sees his enemy and drops on him with terrific speed.

Synopsis for Along the Main Line: "Derailed"

Ed and Jake are transporting a consignment of gold when two thugs hijack their train. One of the hijackers watches the security guard in the express car, while the other forces Ed to keep the engine running at full speed, even after Ed warns him that a curve ahead will derail them. Having no choice, Ed knocks out the thug, uncouples the express car from the engine, and jumps out with Jake before it derails. Then, he uses the gun of the unconscious thug to force the second hijacker to surrender.

Later, Ed and Jake receive a $5000 reward for capturing the two robbers.

Synopsis for "Frank of the Frontier"

Frank enters the wild forest armed only with his rifle, and it's not long before an arrow zips by his head. He quickly takes cover, and tries to lure his enemy out of cover with a decoy. But his enemy is cunning too, and he lures Frank with a decoy at the same time. Frank falls for it, his enemy does not. Knowing his prey is hurt, the Indian goes for the kill.

Lefty puts up a blackface minstrel show to make some money, and Slimsy helps him by collecting the entrance fees. When the curtains open, tomatoes are immediately thrown at Lefty, who immediately suspects a put-up job by Slimsy. Lefty finds his so-called colleague by the candy store, eating lollipops with a bunch of other kids. He confronts him, but Slimsy excuses himself by telling him that the show went so badly that he had to buy lollipops for the audience.

The acting Bedouin chief is escaping with Wing, but Slim pursues him on horseback. He daringly jumps on the Bedouin, throwing him off his horse and capturing him, consequently freeing Wing. Leaderless, the Bedouins flee, and the Legionnaires camp for the night. But under the cover of the dark, the Bedouin chief works the ropes that bind him, until he's loose. He then frees his second-in-command and, killing their guards, the two set out to loot a nearby civilian caravan.

A carriage carrying several nobles has its journey interrupted by a street brawl involving Henri Duval. Undaunted, Henri rides after the carriage, intending to find out the young lady's full name, but finds the carriage under attack from bandits. Henri rescues the carriage--and finds out that he has rescued King Louis himself!

Charley decides to play the part, and he and Percy take an exam. The teacher is appalled by one of the papers, and she promises to put its author in detention. Charley mocks Percy, but he turns out to be the one who wrote it.

Synopsis for Doctor Occult: "The Vampire Master, Part 1 (of 4)"

While out for an evening walk, Doctor Occult rescues a man, Sander Amster, from a vampire. Though Occult manages to drive the monster away, the vampire follows Amster home and, that night, attacks his wife. Occult puts Mrs. Amster under heavy guard in a sanitarium, and sets a trap for the vampire with his associate, Rose Psychic, as bait. As the vampire attacks, Occult brandishes a crucifix--but it has no effect!

Old Scratch finds the unconscious Ramblin' Jim, so he takes him to his shack. Jim wakes up, and he tells the old man how he was knocked out. An unexpected knocking at the door turns out to be the escaped convict, who seeks shelter during a stormy night. He threatens Jim not to tell the old man who he really is, but Scratch grows suspicious of him anyway.
